Planmäßig wurde das nächste Release der KEMP LoadMaster Serie veröffentlicht. Seit Freitag ist V7.1-20b, als FinalRelease, als Download verfügbar. Hier die wichtigsten Änderungen und Features:
Neue Features und Funktionserweiterungen:
- Neues Add-On Packs um den LoadMaster mit dem VMware vCenter Log Insight Server zu integrieren.
- Neuer Service Type für Log Insight in einem Virtual Service.
- Neue Templates um das neue Log Insight Add-On Pack zu veröffentlichen.
- Templates für das einfache veröffentlichen und erstellen von einem Virtual Servicefür das Loadbalancen von Log Insight.
- Support für die neue Bare Metal Plattform: Fujitsu Primergy.
- Support für Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD).
- KCD Funktionalität, inklusive Support für clientzertifikatsbasierte Authentication.
- Die Möglichkeit das “lauschen” auf einem dedizierten Interface für GEO.
- Die Möglichkeit mehrere Interfaces für GEO zu verwenden.
- GEO API Befehle wurden hinzugefügt.
- Application Firewall Pack (AFP) – Beta Release.
Probleme gelöst:
- LoadMaster logging process issue, where in some circumstances, excessive wear of our Solid State Drives may occur
- Memory issue related to SSO manager
- Issue where log level for successful backup notifications was incorrect
- Issue related to permanent ESP cookies and sub-virtual services
- Issue where 100-Continue options in Web User Interface (WUI) were not clear
- Issue where persistence was incorrectly set for terminal services
- Issue where re-encrypt VIA header did not send HTTPS information
- Issue where non-checked interfaces did not send Gratuitous ARPs
- Issue where SMMP did not correctly report on Sub Virtual Service status
- Issue where some updated HA statistic settings would revert to a previous value
- Issue where ESP for SMTP could not handle ESMTP chunking
- Memory issue related to wildcard virtual services
- Issue where statistics refresh interval was incorrect
- Issue where GEO wildcard FQDNs were not editable
- Issue in behavior with administrative WUI access enabled on the HA shared IP address of alternate interfaces
- Issue where the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) in certificates was not used as part of authentication
- Memory issue related to bonded interfaces
Bekannte Fehler:
- When Permitted Groups are used in ESP configuration, users receive unexpected credential prompt when the LoadMaster contacts a child domain for user authentication
- Virtual IP detail statistics render incorrectly
- The RESTful API aclcontrol command does not have proper user permissions.
- Access to LoadMaster WUI using an iPhone is not supported.
- Issues with ESP and ActiveSync if the password contains certain non-ASCII characters.
- When using ActiveSync with form-based authentication, occasionally SSO domain connections are dropped.
- Occasionally some active Layer 4 Virtual Service connections are dropped when another Layer 4 Virtual Service is created or modified.
